Mark Twain (b. Samuel Langhorne Clemens, November 30, 1835, Florida, MO – d. April 21, 1910, Redding, CT) was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer. Cyril Clemens (1902- ) was editor of the Mark Twain Journal and president of an international Mark Twain society. Clemens was a native of St. Louis, Mo.; son of James R. and Katherine Boland Clemens; and a kinsman of Samuel L. Clemens.
